Yasphas

YASPHAS software

YASPHAS is a CFD modelization software (2D and 3D) based on Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics method (SPH). I develop this program for my research activities at Cemagref. YASPHAS can simulate a large variety of hydrodynamic problems, thanks to different SPH algorithms.

You will find below some examples of numerical simulations carried out with YASPHAS.

Simulation examples

Example 1 : Dambreak

These illustrations are taken from a simulation of a dambreak. A video of this simulation can be viewed on this page.

Example 2 : Run-up of a solitary wave on a sloping beach>

These illustrations are taken from a solitary wave run-up on a sloping beach. A video of this simulation can be viewed on this page.

Example 3 : Run-up of a solitary wave on a vertical wall
